An unsexy bed, a message from under the sea, a virus is named and nasty bugs

“Why did you bring us here?” Mikey asked annoyed. “What were you thinking?”

Cathy snapped her fingers then clapped her hands and blew dust in Mikey’s face. His knees buckled and he lay on the floor.

“Drag him in here,” said Cathy as she turned around. “I see you have a blue winged friend there.” She smiled at Adrian. She found him mildly appealing.

Adrian looked at her with a bit of an uneasy feeling.

Adin lifted Mikey over his shoulder and the flipped Cathy something. He then lifted up Kelly who was still not awake. She caught it and he said, “Have him. He’s a burden on me and what it is I need to do during a fight.”

Cathy looked at the thing and it was some sort of communicator. “He’s controlled?” Adin nodded. “Speaking of fights,” said Cathy as she waved Adrian inside and then shut the door, “outside we have a small problem. I think you should go check on it after you throw Mikey in the dungeon. Ali is back with Matthew and they have somehow over-ridded my magical undeading of Jake and Marc. Do not ask me how that is possible but it’s weird. She escaped from me using the same weirdness.” Cathy’s voice trailed off and stopped walking.

“What,” ask Adin.

“If what I think is true then Ali is more trouble than I had thought previously,” Cathy said as her voice became more jagged.

“You’re in over your head,” said Hexer. “You know once I’m freed from the confines of this stupid body of yours you’ll have more trouble than you could ever imagine.”

“But,” she said to him, “you won’t be released and you will learn to abide by my way of thinking like everyone else needs to.” She lifted her hand above the one half of the head that he occupied and whispered, “You are a mystic fool for you’re not to talk back you’re just a tool. Silent and work or else you’ll die. For this I speak is not a lie.”

Cathy felt him twitching inside her head and his final words on the matter were, “This can only work….for….a…while….”

“A while is all I need,” she retorted.

“Cathy,” Adin said annoyed.

Cathy came back to reality and said, “Yeah?”

“What kind of trouble is Ali? And where is the dungeon? And what do you want me to do with her,” Adin said as he lifted Kelly up a bit.

Cathy shook her head and said, “Don’t worry about what kind of trouble she is going to be I’m not sure I’m right. What I am sure is that you need to toss him in the dungeon and get out there and beat her down into a mess of flesh and bone. Take Kelly and give her to Haxot. She’ll know what I want done with her. Will need her.” Adin nodded in compliance and she explained to him where the dungeon was.

Adin walked down the stone like walk way and headed to the stairs the sort of spiraled like a castle’s. He moved with such grace and easy more so than one would expect from such bulk and the dumb look.

Cathy turned to Adin and said, “I have special plans for you.” She took his hand in a sensual manner and dragged him off to an unknown area.

When they arrived Adrian saw there was a huge Queen sized bed that seemed to be decked out in what an actual Queen would have as a bed. Cathy looked at Adrian and smiled.

She whispered into the communicator and said, “Now make me moan.” She jumped onto the bed and sprawled out as she arched her back. She swiftly lifted up with her legs and open invitation of what she wanted as she said, “Let’s see if you’re all blue shall we?”

It was an exhausting walk to Comic Book City. It use to be just a place of freedom and fun but now it was ran by Michael who happened to be a bit of a tyrant with power. His upkeep of Comic Book City was nothing short of pathetic. It would fair better with out his random interference. He hardly preformed the duties in which he was suppose to and his appearances within the city were hardly ever unless it had something to do with JJ.

James had split from the group to get to the store before it would close. This was a small city there were no need for 24 hour areas. He wanted to pick up some hair dye. He said he was in the mood to look different.

The remainder of the group headed to the only house they knew of JJ’s. They got within range of seeing it and Chris said, “It doesn’t look nearly as beat up as we had thought when Daniel had paid a visit.”

“I just really need to pee so it better have a working toilet,” said Kimmy who was about to dance.

They walked up to the house and the front door was all boarded up as were the windows. Normally there would be a notice as to why a home was condemned but there was not one.

“Weird,” said Chris. “As far as I know the payments on the house have been made as they should be. But there is no statement as to why it was locked.”

“I’ve gotta pee,” Kimmy voiced forcefully.

“Well,” said Kori telepathically, “it is JJ’s house is that not reason enough to do this without warrant?”

Dub_ nodded in agreement.

“Please step away from the door,” Kori telepathically stated, “I’m going to make a new one and we can fix it later.”

Everyone stepped back. Kori’s chest glowed as did his upper jaw with energy. It blasted out and shattered the wood and the door. Before the smoke even cleared Kimmy ran inside.

“Be careful,” Chris called in after her as he stepped inside carefully over the wood shatter. Dub_ and Kori followed.

Chris turned on the lights and sneezed. The place was covered in dust and a couple of cobwebs. Of course that was to be expected since no one had been there in months. Chris went over to the counter because he saw flashing lights.

“Nice place,” said Dub_. “A little on the dirty side but that can be fixed.”

“Yes,” said Kori telepathically as he made faces at the grossness that was surrounding him.

Chris saw that it was the answering machine and he pressed the button, “Your mailbox is full.”

Most of the messages were from the same person and asking as to why JJ had not called him back and is everything okay and what was going on. One was pretty interesting it said, “Hey JJ it’s Jayden Atlantis is nice and lovely but things have changed a bit and I need to talk to you. Oh and if you’re wondering where Alexa is she happened to go with us. I don’t really understand how she got down here but she did and she’s been sluting around with a bunch of sea women. Her stories are not worth repeating. I know you wouldn’t care. Call back. I’ve been itching to know what is going on and if I can help out or something. The reports that are coming in from SCN are a bit disturbing if they are true. If you don’t call back I’m going to assume something bad has happened and I’m going to teleport there and find out what.” There was a beep and the voice stated that the message was about two days old.

“He knows that JJ was in exile so why would he continue to call here?” Chris asked. “Weird. Maybe he thought he’d be back by now.”

“Sounds like he’ll be coming here any minute,” said Dub_. “Atlantis huh? That sounds really awesome. I wouldn’t leave there for anything.”

“Doesn’t sound like he thinks it was all too awesome,” said Kori telepathically.

Chris turned around and said, “Yeah but Shawn could be very busy with kingly matters considering he’s the king of the sea now. As fun as that sounds I don’t think I’d want that weightly responsibility.”

“Oh yeah I feel so much better,” said Kimmy. “This little thing makes me need to pee and puke and pee and….” She stopped talking realizing what she was saying.

“What little thing,” Chris asked as he walked over.

“My stomach…it’s been very weird,” she quickly said.

“Maybe we should find something good to eat,” said Chris as he headed to the kitchen.

“Oh no you’re kidding right,” Kori said telepathically. “I don’t think you’ll find anything good in there.”

“Just call James and ask him to bring back some food,” said Dub_.

“I’ll just run and tell him it’ll be quicker and more efficient,” said Chris as he zoomed out of the house lifting inches of dust off the floor in his wake.

Everyone coughed.

“Is this really necessary,” Bat asked as they stopped.

“Yes,” said JJ. “We do this and it’ll distract them away from the problem’s they’ll have when we get there.”

“They’ll just send those Glooms,” said Sara. “It really wouldn’t alter anything.”

“Less Glooms there,” said JJ.

“I’m up for this,” said Gray with a smile as he pulled down his goggles ready for battle.

“Who else,” said JJ.

They were standing outside of BS City and it had been decided that they would cause a massive problem that would make Jeff have to divert his attention to BS City and that would leave him open at his place for everyone else to get the rest and get out without fighting.

“BS.City.Has.Shrunk,” said Twelve. “It.Seems.To.Be.Continuingly.Shrinking.As.We.
Stand.Here.”

“That’s what happens when you leave inept people in charge,” JJ said. He continued, “Sucks I can’t go in. I’d have fun staying.”

Clancy looked into the city and said, “I’ve never really been in there too much and it’s not really something I’d want to do again so I’ll have to pass.”

Thomas shook his head and said, “It’s a stupid place for not allowing you in I’d rather not.”

“No one,” JJ asked. “Fine,” he touched Gray on the shoulder and snapped his fingers three times creating three more Grays. “Be careful they won’t fully be with you because I’m not there but I’m sure they’ll do just fine. Right guys?”

“Sure, sure,” said one. “I love being in Gray’s body it’s so warm and fuzzy.”

“You didn’t give them my personality?” Gray asked annoyed.

“They look like you but they’ll have me to guide them,” said JJ with a smile.

“Oh fun,” said Gray as he walked off. The other Grays followed looking so much like the original.

“Make sure it’s a big problem,” said JJ. “We want them to send the big guns.”

Gray tossed his hand in the air as if to say yeah, yeah, sure, sure.

JJ turned back to the group and said, “We have a journey ahead of us let’s not sit around and do nothing.”

“I would have stayed,” said Dustin as he jogged up behind JJ.

“I didn’t ask you to,” said JJ as he walked a little faster on the path that would take them to Jeff’s.

“You technically did,” said Dustin. “You asked if anyone would.”

“I wouldn’t have let you stay,” said JJ with half a smile.

“You don’t tell me what to do fool,” said Dustin as he pushed JJ.

JJ laughed and said, “You know what I’m going to kick you hard in the face if you don’t leave me alone with that pushing thing.”

“You and what…” Dustin said as he stopped.

“Yeah that would have been a dumb question,” said JJ laughing.

Thomas and Sara took to the air and stayed low so as to not be spotted should a Gloom pass by. They did not need to distract them on their mission to BS City that they will hopefully be on.

“We.Are.Going.To.Arrive.To.Jeff’s.In.Under.An.Hour.Or.So,” said Twelve.

“Most likely late for when Josh and them arrive,” said Bat.

“Most likely,” said JJ. “But we are not there to meet them as it is to help them should they run into any trouble.”

“I did a quick scan and did not find anyone around us,” said Wade. “I’m hungry though.”

“Yeah,” said JJ. “We’ll have to attend to that when we’re done helping out Josh and everyone else.” JJ pulled Dustin up next to him. Dustin squirmed and JJ said, “Something is not right.”

“Yeah you’re grabbing me like you own me,” said Dustin as he pulled his arm free. “What do you mean not right?”

JJ said silently, “Cloning Gray there was something I could not really clone in him.”

“So,” said Dustin.

“It was electronic,” said JJ.

“You don’t think,” said Dustin.

“It’s possible they have Andy,” said JJ.

“Everyone?” Dustin asked.

“We better be mindful,” said JJ.

“This is going to be interesting,” said Dustin.

“Very,” said JJ.

“Do you have to get the last word in,” Dustin said annoyed.

“Yes,” said JJ as he quickly went ahead of Dustin.

“They are called Lurkers,” said Meg. “They are insect like creatures that are powerful and large. They can implant eggs in people and make them host. If the egg is not removed and it hatches then that person is a lost cause and are now part of the Lurkers. It is brutal to watch.” Meg continued to walk down the tunnel. “It is important that you do not agitate them. They will let us pass if they are not.”

“Get off me you nasty thing,” shouted Josh as he telekinetically slammed a Lurker against a wall.

“Or,” said Meg as she started to look around, “you can agitate them and make this trip take too long. We were almost there.” Meg lifted up hear hands ready for a battle.

“What,” Josh asked. “It’s a big bug.”

“One in which you should have left alone,” said Tina as she too started to look around.

“It should have let me alone,” said Josh as he was still floating using his powers. He had enough strength to do what he did. He was growing tired of constantly using his power.

“I’m not ready to be attacked by huge bugs,” said Fonz. “My toesies hurt.”

“Tosies eh,” Tina said teasing him. She was still helping him along the tunnel.

There was a loud cricket like noise that echoed.

“Whoa,” said Anthony, “was that….”

Meg nodded. “We are about to get it.”

Dom pulled up from the ground and said, “I felt major vibrations.”

Alan pointed, “Looks like we have company.”

The tunnel from either side of the group was starting to fill with Lurkers. They were walking on six legs. They were making a loud cricket noise. Some even walked faster than others and ended up walking on other Lurkers. They got closer and their mouths showed huge teeth that were sharper than necessary.

“Really,” said Meg looking at them as they approached, “teeth are a bet excessive on these things.”

“Now what,” Anthony asked.

“We have to fight,” said Meg.

“I’m tired,” said Josh as he moved himself into the middle of everyone.

“You have to push yourself,” said Meg.

“You don’t really want that,” said Josh. “I might want that but I’m thinking that this is too enclosed to push myself too much.”

One Lurker jumped up towards Josh. Josh’s power shoved it backwards and split it in half. It sort of made the other Lurkers back up but then they just got pissy and charged.

Darph was seated on his throne with his one hand propping up his head. He looked into am orb like object that floated near him. He was watching certain events that were taking place. He took notice of Ali and Matthew and what they were doing.

“She’s becoming more trouble than I really would want,” Darph said. “She has, somehow, cured the Marc and Jake of being undead. They will not be able to pass along my virus that I’ve created.” He then gave off a big grin. “Talking to my self is fun since I’m such a smart one to talk to. The virus will infect those that are around the undead when they explode.”

He waved his hand and the orb moved out of sight. He took a deep breath and looked around his red lava surrounded hot home. He wished he had someone of equal brains to have conversations with. He was mildly entertained by certain people even though he had to dumb down himself to talk to them.

Darph thought of how he missed talking to JJ. He caught him self thinking that and almost gagged at even allowing it for a split second. It was his stupid fault things fell between them. He was part of the reason he was down here in this warm hell.

Then he went back to thinking about the virus. “I believe the name for the virus will be the Bobo Virus. Because once it comes to fruition they will be easier to have and convert into slaves of me. I’m so awesome without a single doubt.” He clapped his hands like an excited monkey.

“Are you all right,” Ali asked as she helped Jake up off the ground.

He dusted himself off and said, “I feel alright. I actually feel better. You know that story about the lion who had the thorn in his foot and the mouse pulled it out and he was all better? Yeah that’s me.”

Ali laughed and said, “Yeah Aesop’s Fable. I know that one.”

“Ali hey,” said Adin as he walked over to her. “Jeff’s been looking all over for you. I’m here to escort you back to him.”

Ali looked over to see Adin in all his metal wearing glory walking towards her. Matthew moved over next to her and said, “Thank God reason is here.”

Ali pushed him away and said to Adin, “You can tell Jeff I’m not going back.”

“He has questions,” said Adin. “You know he’ll want them answered eventually.”

“No I have business to take care of here,” said Ali.

Adin stood in front of her and then punched Matthew right in the face. Matthew skidded across the ground. “I can’t pretend.” He grabbed Ali by the head and lifted her up. “You’ve pissed off Cathy.”

“Since when do you work with that witch,” said Jake.

“Since,” said Adin as his eyes looked up in the sky and then quickly looked at Jake, “forever. I’m too much of a backstabbing weirdo to really hold place anywhere. You’re better off not being around me I’m emotionally unstable.” He squeezed Ali’s head as he looked her in the eyes, “But you are coming with me.”

“No she’s not,” said a voice as a fist came from behind Adin’s head hitting him. “She’s staying here.”

Adin threw Ali forward and Jake jumped up and caught her. Adin turned and said, “Marc you’ve always been a stupid idiot don’t make this another thing to add to that list you big fat orange rock loser.”

Adin pulled back his fist and hit Marc right in the chest. Marc flew backwards. “You’re willing to die to protect Ali from the wrath of Cathy? Foolish, stupid and idiotic—I’m sure none of those names are unfamiliar to you and how you are.”

Marc then said, “So much trash talk from someone that tries to be more than he’ll ever really be.” Marc charged and lowered his shoulder slamming into Adin.

Jake moved Ali out of the way before they were trampled on by the fumbling Adin.

Marc stood at a distance and said, “Oscar winner? You don’t even have the God given talent to even get noticed.”

Adin picked up a chunk of rock that was unearthed by Jakes landing and threw it at Marc, “I’m more than you’ll ever pretend to be.” He paused and then said, “But in reality you’ll always be more than me.” He put his hands far apart to demonstrate fatness.

Marc caught the bolder and rolled it towards Adin who could have moved out of the way if it had not bounced up and hit him in the face. Adin shook his head from the rubble that was left on his helmet.

“Matthew are you alright,” Ali asked looking down at him.

Matthew looked up and said, “I’m fine but that did hurt. I think I have a fight to join though.” He slowly got up and converted himself to steel.

Usul and Abby were out cold. Nate had run up to Joel making his robotic arms fly forward and try to land a punch on him. Joel dodged a few of them and was hit by one in the shoulder. Nate laughed and so did Joel. There was an electric charge that ran through Joel’s body and then through the arm that hit Nate hard enough to make him fall to the ground shaking.

“Something is not right,” shouted Kurt. “You cannot stand guard while things are falling apart.” He out stretched his body and started to wrap around Joel. “You won’t be able to use your electric charge to hurt me.”

Joel pushed and pushed as Kurt wrapped himself around him. Kurt did not wrap around his head leaving it out. Lindsey ran up and shoved the pink energy from her fist into Joel’s head. Joel screamed for seconds and then stopped.

“He’s out,” said Lindsey as she pulled it out.

Kurt let him go and Joel fell to the ground with a clank.

“Alright,” said Kurt, “let’s put everyone who is out back into the Democritic and lock it up. We have SCN to save.”

Andy closed the think safe like door and imputed a code into. He smiled. He was sure he was the only one that knew the code and if Jeff happened to wake up early or at all no one would know but him because it was sound proof inside. He had a way of looking inside with his laptop. He was sure this was going to be his SCN in a matter of hours.

“I’m sorry,” said Dill as she fluttered around.

“I know you’ve said it before and it’s alright,” said Andy.

“No we have a problem,” said Dill. “There are explosions that are happening in BS City.”

“Where is Will?” Andy asked. “Send him and some of his women there. That should make whoever it is stop. I’m sure it’s nothing.”

“It’s something,” said Dill. “There are more than one Gray flying around causing problems down there.”

“I don’t want to have to use what I have to make him stop,” said Andy. “Send Will but don’t tell him who it is. Let him find out when he gets there.”

“Ok,” said Dill as she flew away.
